My name is Kenzie and I am a Licensed Esthetician in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have been practicing since 2016 and I love taking care of my clients through therapeutic and restorative facial treatments. My passion for skin stems from my struggles with cystic acne at a young age. I struggled with painful and embarrassing breakouts for years and experimented with many dermatological treatments and medications. In 2015, I decided to begin my skin healing journey with aesthetic school at Penrose Academy, located in Scottsdale, Arizona. I have learned many incredible causes for acne in the last 7 years, however, my journey has just begun. I am now attending nursing school, as I have found that acne and other skin issues are more than just treating the surface. I am fascinated by the body and its incredible ability to detect dysfunction and correct disorder. 

With the education, life experience, and knowledge I have now, I like to incorporate the function of internal health, as a means to treat skin issues. What I have learned about skin and its issues is that the reason causing concern is never just one thing. 

I encourage a healthy diet, appropriate vitamins & supplements, a healthy lifestyle, and of course, ways to calm the mind & minimize stress.

I believe that our skin is a map or representation of what is going on INSIDE the body. The food we eat, the detergent and cleaning products we use, the quality of water we drink, and the ingredients found in daily care products (especially skincare) have the opportunity to benefit or disservice our health. These things matter and they all can disrupt our endocrine system - hormones are everything!
